About

This trans-disciplinary capability framework for health professionals was developed using an international Delphi Panel to achieve expert consensus on what core capabilities are required to optimise care for people with osteoarthritis (OA). The Delphi Panel was established including researchers, clinicians, and consumer representatives. The final framework contained 70 specific capabilities across 13 broad areas, highlighting the need for a broad and diverse array of skills required to provide optimal care for people with OA. Implementation of the core capability framework will ultimately improve the overall quality of care and effectiveness of OA services and improve outcomes for people with OA.
