About

The primary aim of this study was to compare the effects of diet and exercise compared with exercise only on knee osteoarthritis symptoms and weight loss. Participants were asked to attend 6 Zoom consultations online with a physiotherapist over six months and asked to an exercise program at home. Participants allocated to the diet and exercise group undertook a very low calorie ketogenic diet including meal replacements whilst participants allocated to the exercise only group were asked to continue current dietary habits.
