Cortical visual neuroscience

We study higher order (arising from brain processing) visual function and behaviour from several multidisciplinary perspectives (engineering, visual neuroscience, psychology, optometry).

We consider how this information is used to search for visual objects in the environment, for attention, eye movements and decision-making. Our research investigates how these processes are conducted by the healthy brain, and also how they are impacted by disease.
