About
ATLAS is an eLearning program of high quality arthritis education for best practice arthritis care.
In 2019, the Australian Government’s National Strategic Action Plan for Arthritis identified a need to improve care for people living with arthritis—ATLAS was one of the key implementation strategies of the Plan. Funded by the Australian Government, ATLAS was developed by a consortium of leading clinicians, researchers (University of Sydney, University of Melbourne, Curtin University), and advocacy organisations (Arthritis and Osteoporosis Western Australia, Australian Rheumatology Association) brought together by Arthritis Australia.
The ATLAS team developed the eLearning platform over 2022-2024 and launched in early 2024.
