ENHANCE Study: New Publication

ENHANCE: A comparative prospective longitudinal study of cognitive outcomes after 3 years of hearing aid use in older adults

Our latest ENHANCE study results have just been published in the Journal of Frontiers in Neuroscience! This publication reports on the comparative cognitive performance of 2 groups of people at baseline and at 18-month intervals thereafter through to 3-year follow-up. One group all had hearing loss and used hearing aids from baseline. The other group (participants of the Australian Imaging Biomarkers and Lifestyle (AIBL) Flagship Study of Aging) either did or did not have hearing loss and did not use hearing aids.
