Paeds Co-LAB Conference Highlights

In March, many members of the Paediatric Collaborative for Learning and Allied Health Research (Paeds Co-LAB) attended the 13th Oceania Academy of Cerebral Palsy and other Childhood-Onset Disabilities Biennial Conference in Hobart. Professor Alicia Spittle has been the co-president of the Oceania Academy for the past 4 years, with Professor Sarah McIntrye from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

Together, the Paeds Co-LAB delivered:

• 16 oral presentations

• 6 workshops

• 3 poster presentation

• 2 pre-conference workshops

• 2 skills labs

PhD candidate Kate Rawnsley’s research was recognised through selection for a top 7 PhD presentation. Members of the Paeds Co-LAB with lived experience contributed their expertise through poster and workshop presentations, including Finn O’Keefe who was recognised with the Person with a Lived Experience Award for Outstanding Contribution.
