Graduate Research Colloquium 2024

This year's in-person Graduate Research Colloquium is onĀ 'Integrative Health Advancements: Bridging Expertise for Better Outcomes, hosted by MSHS at Melbourne Connect, The Forum.

This event aims to raise awareness of research questions and methodologies across various departments, fostering understanding and collaboration within the School. Presentations from MSHS graduate researchers will be delivered in various engaging formats, including traditional conference presentations, three-minute talks, poster presentations, and the dynamic Pecha Kucha style. Attendance is mandatory for all confirmed graduate researchers, who are required to present their work.

Our keynote session will highlight the importance of science communication, providing valuable insights on how to effectively convey research findings to a broad audience. This presentation will focus on developing communication skills that are essential for interdisciplinary research and community engagement.

The panel discussion will concentrate on interdisciplinary collaboration, exploring how integrating different health sciences disciplines can enhance research and practical applications. This session will address the challenges and opportunities in bridging expertise for better outcomes.

This is an on-campus event, with morning and afternoon tea and lunch provided. It's an excellent opportunity to network with peers, supervisors, and professionals in the field. All members of the School of Health Sciences are encouraged to attend, making it an ideal occasion to engage with cutting-edge research, learn from experts, and build meaningful connections.
