Excellence in Learning and Teaching

Dr Snezana Kusljic is the recipient of 2019 MDHS Award for Sustained Excellence in Learning and Teaching for: ‘Rising to the challenge of teaching bioscience subjects to current and future health professionals'

The award recognises Snezana's outstanding ability to teach scientific concepts using holistic approaches. This includes clinical contextualisation and puzzle-based activities to enable diverse groups of students to grasp unfamiliar and often daunting scientific concepts.

Over the years Snezana has been a passionate contributor to excellence in teaching and learning, including the design of nationally recognised and industry leading postgraduate nursing programs.

Snezana is a Lead for pharmacology learning and teaching, and the senior bioscience expert in the Department of Nursing.
