Showcasing health sciences pathways for undergrad students

Melbourne School of Health Sciences representatives recently held information sessions at undergraduate biomedicine and psychology lectures to showcase MSHS courses and discuss personal career journeys.

These lectures provided valuable opportunities for students to learn about the different career pathways available to them after their undergraduate degree via a postgraduate degree with MSHS, including audiology, speech pathology, optometry and vision sciences, nursing, social work and physiotherapy.

Student feedback showed that they found these sessions helpful and informative. "It was a real ‘in the moment’ reassurance there's stability in our future", "I didn’t know anything about the career pathways after a Psychology undergraduate degree prior to this lecture. So I find this session really helpful and informative.",  "I learned the other different pathways possible... At first I just know about honours, mpp, clinical psyc. Thanks a lot.
