Reflecting on 50 years of Audiology at Melbourne

"University of Melbourne audiology turns 50!" is now available in Issue 95 of Audiology Now Magazine, published by Audiology Australia.

The University of Melbourne is celebrating the 50th year of audiology graduates in 2024. To celebrate this milestone, Dr Peter Carew and A/Prof Dani Tomlin have written a reflective article, ‘University of Melbourne audiology turns 50!’, which has been published in Audiology Now Magazine. The article gathered insights and experiences of a few key individuals who shaped the development of the audiology program. It also highlighted key events from the three physical locations that have housed the audiology course over the years. From early development to research achievements today, the journey has been challenging. Yet, the department is dedicated to shaping the future hearing health care workforce for another 50 years and beyond.

The article is now available in Issue 95 of Audiology Now Magazine, published by Audiology Australia. Interested in finding out more about it? You can read the article here.

If you are an alumnus, we’d love to reconnect - please join us in our upcoming celebration events.
