Recently published: Applied Anatomy and Physiology: an interdisciplinary approach
We’d like to congratulate Dr Zerina Tomkins on her recently published book, Applied Anatomy & Physiology: an interdisciplinary approach.
Written for students with minimal bioscience background, Chapters are aligned to major body systems, with case studies and related multiple-choice questions consolidate chapter content. It encourages students to think critically about how the different body systems work together, providing a deeper understanding of A&P and how to apply this effectively to clinical practice.
Dr Tomkins is a clinician-scientist with a strong interdisciplinary focus spanning tissue engineering, immunology and outcomes for those diagnosed with vascular cancers. She is also the course coordinator and Senior Lecturer for the MNSc Nursing (Entry to Practice) course.
