PhD Student Wins Best Presentation Award at International Conference
Dilshan Delgama, a PhD candidate in audiology at the Melbourne School of Health Sciences, has been awarded the Best Graduate Research Presentation – University of Melbourne award at the Cookson Scholars Postgraduate Researcher Conference 2025. This annual award recognises outstanding contributions to research and collaboration within the Melbourne-Manchester joint PhD program.
Dilshan's award-winning presentation showcased his innovative project developing a digital tool to support parents and caregivers of children with cochlear implants. Currently conducting research at the University of Manchester as part of the program, Dilshan exemplifies the collaborative spirit of the Cookson Scholars initiative.
