Multidisciplinary Pre-school Screening Program

Early August, MSHS had a fantastic opportunity to bring together students and educators across Audiology, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, and Optometry for an interdisciplinary screening program in partnership with the Rotary Club in Coburg.

Their collaboration aimed to provide health screening to pre-school children whilst offering students hands-on experience. This initiative demonstrated the power of interdisciplinary education in a hands-on environment. The community partnership experience was also highly valuable, with 60 children being successfully screened for their vision, hearing, communication and motor skills.
