CentreMHN’s Consumer Academic Program Hosts a Powerful 2nd Annual Workforce Forum
Tthe Consumer Academic Program (CAP), Centre for Mental Health Nursing team recently hosted the 2nd annual Consumer Workforce Forum as part of The Collab Conference 2025. The theme this year was ‘Our Discipline, Our Knowledge, Our Strength.’
This year, more than 85 members of the mental health consumer lived experience workforce attended the Consumer Workforce Forum. Highlights of the day included two keynote speakers, four community members presentations and a panel discussion on the launch of the Mental Health Consumer Lived Experience Workforce Discipline Framework.
The day, hosted at Marvel Stadium, was a huge success thanks to our major sponsor, the Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council (VMIAC). Feedback from the day demonstrated that the keynotes, the panel, and the chance to network and connect with other members of the consumer Lived Experience workforce were the highlights of the day.
