About

The Centre for Health, Exercise & Sports Medicine (CHESM) at the University of Melbourne is hosting the Australian Osteoarthritis Summit 2025: Driving Impactful Research.

Aims of the Summit:
This Summit aims to bring together researchers, clinicians, consumer organizations, people with lived experience of osteoarthritis, industry and government bodies to:
  • Outline progress of Australian OA research and current OA landscape in Australia
  • Present the results of the new Australian OA research priorities consensus project
  • Gain broad input into the barriers and facilitators and strategies to achieve the OA research priorities
  • Increase advocacy and funding opportunities
  • Facilitate collaboration and networking amongst Australian pre-clinical and clinical OA researchers, consumers and stakeholders
