Vale Dr Genevieve Napper
The Department would like to pay tribute to Dr Genevieve Napper who lost a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, June 26, 2020.
Genevieve made enormous contributions to the profession of optometry, to Optometry Victoria, and to the eye health of vulnerable members of the community, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Genevieve was the winner of the Department’s Alumnus Award in 2019. She will be missed.
