Nursing at the University of Melbourne is located in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences within the Melbourne School of Health Sciences. The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences is internationally recognised for its leadership in teaching and training, health research, policy and practice and is considered to be one of the best places to study medicine and the health sciences in Australia. The Faculty is involved in major health projects and partnerships with hospitals, research centres and institutes which enrich discovery and learning opportunities for all our staff and students.
Since its inception in July 2009, the Melbourne School of Health Sciences has embraced the Melbourne Model to create an inter-professional learning community at the forefront of leadership in health sciences education, clinical research, scholarship, professional practice, workforce training and knowledge exchange. Our highly skilled team and outstanding students contribute to local, national and global efforts to improve health and wellbeing.
