We need your input: The Collaborative Centre Research Priorities Study
SURVEY 2 NOW COMPLETED
The team at Centre for Mental Health Nursing and Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences worked together with The Collaborative Centre to develop and conduct ‘The Collaborative Centre Research Priorities Study’.
The second and final survey of this study that seeks to capture Victorian community opinions to inform the research strategy for the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing (‘The Collaborative Centre’) has been rolled out. The Collaborative Centre was recently established by Victorian Government in response to recommendations from the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System (RCVMHS). Establishing a strategic research plan will be key to The Collaborative Centre’s success. A total of 18 research priorities across 7 areas were recommended for The Collaborative Centre by the RCVMHS or selected by our research team. The Collaborative Centre needs to determine which of these 18 research priorities should be addressed first, given that its resources are limited.
In our first survey, the Victorian community selected the top research priority in each of the seven areas. The current survey now builds on those findings and asks community members to rank the importance of these seven community-selected research priorities.
Through the survey, we are seeking Victorian community opinions to inform the research strategy for the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing (‘The Collaborative Centre’).
