Dainius Puras in conversation with CMHN

The Centre for Mental Health Nursing and the Consumer Academic Program had the pleasure of hosting Dainius PÅ«ras for a morning tea event with key stakeholders from the mental health sector including Mental Health Nurses, advocates, and members of the consumer workforce.

Dainius' main interest is management of change in the field of health-related services regionally and globally, with a main focus on operationalisation of human rights-based approach through effective policies and services.

During this intimate event, Dainius engaged in a dialogue about putting human rights into practice in the context of mental health.

It was an insightful and thought provoking morning, where we gained much value through our conversations. We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to Dainius for joining us again, and look forward to seeing him in his future visits to Australia.
