Bridget Hamilton appointed to the board of Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing

We are honoured and thrilled to share with you that the Centre’s Director, A/Prof Bridget Hamilton, has recently been appointed to the Board of the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Bridget has extensive experience as a specialist mental health clinician, manager, educator and researcher. She also leads our team of Clinical Nurse Academics and Consumer Academics to enhance the skills and contribution of Mental Health Nurses in Victoria, for the benefit of people receiving mental healthcare. In 2018, she was awarded the Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council (VMIAC) Ally of the Year Award in 2018 for her support for lived experience workforces and upholding human rights. In this exciting new role, Bridget will join a diverse and skilled board that aims to bring lived and living experience leadership, research excellence, and clinical expertise to lead transformative change across Victoria’s mental health and wellbeing system.
