A/Prof Bridget Hamilton's presentation on Safewards at Eastern Hospital
This month, A/Prof Bridget Hamilton, Director of the CMHN, delivered a keynote presentation on the “Current state of Safewards evidence and action in the world" at the Mental Health Community of Practice Safewards event.
Hosted by Eastern Health Mental Health and Wellbeing, the event brought together 83 Victorian mental health professionals for a day of focused learning, knowledge exchange, and sector collaboration.
Chief Mental Health Nurse Anna Love opened the day, followed by a series of presentations exploring the ongoing implementation and sustainability of the Safewards model across services.
Participants returned to their workplaces with renewed insight and practical strategies to strengthen team-based approaches to mental health care.
