Sharing knowledge, supporting practice

The annual 'Collab' celebrates and showcases the specialist practice of mental health nursing, and the ways in which this practice contributes to better health outcomes for consumers of mental health services. It welcomes early, mid-career and veteran mental health nurses, nursing students, academics and  researchers alike.

Date: Thursday 2nd & Friday 3rd August 2018.

Venue: The Valley in Melbourne's Moonee Ponds.

  • Prof. Eimear Muir-Cochrane, Professor of Nursing and President of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, on her research into empathy, safety and resilience in the context of mental health nursing practice
  • Anna Love, Victoria’s Chief Mental Health Nurse, on Victoria’s mental health nursing policy agenda
  • Susan McLean, Australia’s foremost expert on cyber safety and online bullying, on the impact of online behaviours on the mental health of young people
