In Loving Memory of Kaushalya

With great sadness, we share news of the passing of our esteemed alumnus, colleague and friend, Kaushalya (Kaush) Troy. Kaush was not only a valued and passionate audiologist within our profession, but also a dedicated educator and a compassionate soul whose influence will endure for years to come.

Beginning her audiology journey upon graduating from The University of Melbourne in 2007, Kaush's commitment to the field was unwavering. Her wide involvement in our professional organisation Audiology Australia showcased her dedication to professional development, while her passion for tinnitus management, electrophysiology, and wax removal garnered widespread admiration. At her core, Kaush had a key theme of working with clients and families from vulnerable backgrounds. She always found a way to do this, including through her own audiology business that she built with love, Audire Hearing.

Kaush's passion for teaching was palpable to all who encountered her during her tenure in the Melbourne Audiology Teaching Team in 2014. Whether in the clinic or the classroom, she shared her knowledge with enthusiasm, leaving an enduring impression on her students and colleagues.

To Kaush's family and the Audire team, we offer our deepest sympathies.

Though Kaush's presence will be deeply missed, her kindness, warmth, and dedication will continue to inspire us all.
