Dr Marianne Coleman and Dr Bao Nguyen at the University of Melbourne recently authored Pursuit article explaining why everybody living with dementia needs regular eye tests.
According to the 2022 World Alzheimer’s Report, having dementia increases your risk of preventable sight loss. This risk is further amplified when considering how risk of eyesight conditions skyrocket after the age of 60. However, this can be easily avoided by routine eye examinations.
