Jane MacDonaldAlumni
"During my career as an audiologist in a rural location I've had the privilege of providing essential hearing care services while also advocating for the recognition and support of audiologists working in small audiology businesses, ensuring access to quality hearing health care for all."
Matt GroundsAlumni
"Specializing in mainstream adult rehab audiology, I began at NAL/Australian Hearing after graduating from Melbourne University. With diverse experience in Melbourne and Bendigo, including management roles, I've also delved into paediatrics and indigenous audiology. Transitioning to a not-for-profit hearing provider, I focused on holistic rehabilitation and community education, maintaining ties to the Deaf community. Currently teaching at Unimelb, I'm dedicated to advancing quality audiological practice and client partnerships."
Sally WoodsAlumni
"The profession of audiology has provided an opportunity for me to combine my passion of health care and my desire to help people (clear awareness from the age of 7) to live better lives. I have been fortunate to work with dynamic teams across the public and private sectors, collaborating with other health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for the patients/clients we see. What a privilege it has been."
John LangfordConsumer of Hearing Healthcare
John is an experienced water engineer now working part time as an Honorary Professorial Fellow in the Department of Infrastructure Engineering. After observations by his wife, a visit to Melbourne Hearing Care Clinic detected moderate hearing loss, initiating corrective action via a pair of hearing aids.

GP, Health Educator and Media Presenter
"As a GP and now, myself, with some age-related hearing loss I am very aware of the importance of hearing care in trying to prevent mental and physical decline. Sadly stigma is still a barrier to seeking help, but being able to share with my patients that I wear hearing aids helps break down barriers."
