Parents and Bubs Morning Tea
On Friday 25 October 2024, the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology hosted our first Parents and Bubs morning tea – and what a chaotic, fun and beautiful morning it was.
The gathering created a welcoming space for working parents to share their experiences, from the daily triumphs to the challenging moments and everything in between. It was heartwarming to see staff members come together and meet our department's youngest 'team members', ranging from tiny 3-month-olds to energetic kindergarteners. An added benefit was being able to check the health of some of the ears with some sneaky tympanometry testing thanks to one of our paediatric audiologists (otherwise affectionately known as “Dr Joc”).
Given the success of this get together, we're excited to expand these catchups across the MSHS department, creating regular opportunities for working parents to connect, share stories, and of course – capture more precious photos.
