Dr David Kelly recognised for excellence at Australian Physiotherapy Association Awards

Senior lecturer Dr David Kelly has been awarded the Australian Physiotherapy Association award for Contribution to the Profession in acknowledgement of his outstanding work across multiple domains, including augmented reality and the development of spinal sensors for the teaching of spinal mobilisation.

‘It’s such an honour to receive an award for following your passion. I wish to thank my interdisciplinary colleagues at the University of Melbourne, it has been a privilege to work with leaders in the profession and in education’ he said.

‘I have been blessed to work in a profession that continues to excel and be a beacon to the community in caring for their health and wellbeing’.

The Australian Physiotherapy Association is the country’s leading organisation representing physiotherapists and their patients, with over 30,000 members.
