The School of Health Sciences and the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences would like to recognise and congratulate A/Prof  Laura Downie, who has been working towards this vision since 2015.

Laura DownieSince 2017, our Department has published 4 Cochrane systematic review protocols, with a further 1 currently under review, and 3 full systematic reviews, with a further 1 in progress.

A number of department staff co-authored these reviews including A/Prof Peter Keller, A/Prof Larry Abel and Dr Kwang Cham, as well as 7 of our Doctor of Optometry and PhD students, and several international collaborators.

We are proud of this achievement, and the recognition it brings to our Department as a leader in evidence-based eye care.
