Congratulations to MSHS winners of EMCR Grants
The Early-Mid Career Research Grant (EMCR) Catalyst Grant is an MRFF funded scheme. It provides $20,000-$40,000 per project to support early and mid-career researchers to develop feasibility data and lead an external project grant application.
The funding allows researchers to generate pilot data, involve consumers in co-design, and synthesise evidence in the form of meta-analyses or systematic reviews. This ultimately helps support emerging health and medical research leaders to make breakthrough discoveries, address challenging healthcare issues, accelerate research translation to practice, and enhance their profile for competitive external funding.
The EMCR Grant Pitch Presentations were held from 2-6 September 2024, and we had four winners from the Melbourne School of Health Sciences! Congratulations to Dr Alexis Ceecee Britten-Jones, Dr Natalie Fini, Dr Bao Nguyen and Dr Julien Zanin.
