Award for Excellence and Innovation in Indigenous Education

School of Health Sciences lecturer Ms Shawana Andrews has won the Award for Excellence and Innovation in Indigenous Education in 2017.

Each year the University celebrates the work of staff at the university through the Melbourne Excellence Awards. These awards recognise the outstanding achievements of academic and professional staff in the key areas of research, teaching, engagement, professional excellence and strategic priorities.

The Melbourne Teaching Excellence Awards includes one award for Excellence and Innovation in Indigenous Education. Ms Andrews will be presented a trophy and a grant of $10,000 at the Excellence Awards Ceremony later in the year.
