University of Melbourne Social Work Alumni Association - Morning Tea

After the success of our first morning tea held in October 2015, for those of us who were students in the University of Melbourne’s Department of Social Work prior to and including 1976, the University of Melbourne Social Work Alumni Association (UMSWAA) is delighted to invite you to our second morning tea to be held in March 2019.

Other social workers who might like to attend are very welcome to do so, but we are particularly keen to welcome holders of the Diploma of Social Studies and older members of our alumni cohort.

Where: Lyceum Club, Ridgway Place, Melbourne. Ridgway Place runs between Little Collins and Collins Streets, and is easily accessible by train to Parliament Station, and trams in Bourke and Collins Streets. 
Cost: $40 per person

Parking: Parking is available nearby at Wilson Parking, 34 – 60 Little Collins St. Please bring your parking ticket to the Lyceum Club reception for your ticket to be validated so that you will receive a discounted price of $15.
Access requirements: The venue is wheelchair accessible.

The morning tea offers an opportunity to catch up with old friends and former colleagues and associates, to hear an update on the achievements, happenings and changes in the Department over the past few years, and to learn about the Department's future plans. This update will be given by alumna Professor Lou Harms, Deputy Head, Department of Social Work.
