Podiatry management of big toe joint osteoarthritis

Resources for podiatrists and physiotherapists to help manage people with osteoarthritis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint (the big toe joint).

They were developed during a study which comprised (1) a large international survey and (2) a clinical expert agreement exercise, involving over 200 podiatrists and physiotherapists from Australia and the UK with experience managing people with osteoarthritis of the foot. The work has been presented at the Osteoarthritis Research Society International in Liverpool UK in 2018, and the Australian Podiatry Conference in Adelaide in 2019. It was funded by grants from the Australian Podiatry Education and Research Foundation and Arthritis Australia.
