Adrienne  is a Senior Practitioner in the Aboriginal Children’s Healing Team and Senior Facilitator in the Learning and Development Team at Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA).  Adrienne has over ten years of experience as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in a number of settings including remote, forensic and children’s.  She has extensive experience in both clinical and educational roles with a strong emphasis on trauma informed culturally responsive care.  Adrienne currently works at VACCA providing consults on culturally informed trauma integrated care while developing and facilitating internal and community based workshops on trauma and healing in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.  Adrienne provides consultation and academic support to the University of Melbourne School of Health Sciences.  Adrienne is a proud Wiradjuri woman and is currently studying a Diploma in Wiradjuri Language Culture and Heritage distance and on Country taught by her Elders and members of community.
