About

The primary aim of this study was to evaluate if daily cane use can reduce the size of these bone marrow lesions and improve pain and physical function in people with knee osteoarthritis, after 3 months of using them. Increased forces at the knee can contribute to the knee pain associated with knee osteoarthritis, and the high forces transmitted through the knee can increase the risk of the disease worsening over time.
