Advancing eye care for people with AMD through integrating clinical research and its translation

Project Details

This project involves an innovative research translation project for immediate, tangible improvements in the provision of primary age-related macular degeneration (AMD) care. The project involves    the development of an optometric clinical audit tool for assessing the quality of eye care provided to AMD patients and the delivery of a national education program to upskill optometrists on contemporary research evidence relating to AMD clinical diagnosis and evidence-based management.
