Mrs Nancye Best studied Physiotherapy (then, Massage) during World War II and is now a donor to scholarships for students of Physiotherapy at the University.

Callum Repper graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (2012) and also holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning 2015). Callum works in a dual role as a performance coach and physiotherapist with Hintsa Performance and One Physiotherapy.

Physiotherapy: Professor Rana Hinman
Professor Rana Hinman (PhD 2003, BPhysio 1995) led the research team involved in one of the University's most successful corporate partnership collaborations: the ASICS Gel-Melbourne OA shoe. The shoe was designed specifically for those suffering knee osteoarthritis, for which there is currently no cure, and has been proven to reduce knee load during walking.

Department of Physiotherapy Anniversary Scholarship Fund
To commemorate the past, celebrate the present and anticipate a bright future, the Department of Physiotherapy's Anniversary Scholarship Fund was launched in honour of the department 25th Anniversary. The aim of the scholarship fund is to provide support for talented students who would otherwise be unable to complete studies in physiotherapy.
